How do I send a crew call?
Tap Everyone, a saved group, or Select from Contacts. Review the recipients, write the message, choose a send mode, and tap Send. Confirm the message in Apple’s Messages window.

Allow Contacts
Approve Contacts access when asked. CrewCall LTA reads authorized names and phone numbers on your iPhone.

Add your name
Enter your name near the top of the main screen so crew members know who is sending the call.

Build Master Crew
Choose people from Apple Contacts, or use Recruit & App Directory to add someone without changing personal Contacts.

Create groups
Make groups such as Balloon One, Chase Crew, or Weekend Crew, then select their members.
Using CrewCall LTA
Help and common questions
Group or individual?
One Group Text opens one conversation addressed to everyone. Individual Texts opens a private message for each person, one at a time.
Can it send automatically?
No. Apple requires you to confirm messages in the Messages window. For individual texts, tap Send or Cancel for each recipient.
Can I avoid personal Contacts?
Yes. Open Recruit & App Directory and tap Add Without Using Contacts. Enter the person’s name and mobile number. The entry remains inside CrewCall LTA.
Do recipients need the app?
No. Recipients receive a normal message through iMessage, SMS, or another format selected by Apple’s Messages service and the carrier.
Where are groups saved?
Your sender name, app-only crew entries, Master Crew, and saved groups are stored locally on this iPhone. CrewCall LTA does not upload them to a developer server.
Why are contacts missing?
Open iPhone Settings, choose Privacy & Security, then Contacts, and allow CrewCall LTA access. Reopen the app afterward.
Why can’t I send?
Confirm you are using a real iPhone that is signed in to Messages and can send a normal text. The iOS Simulator cannot send messages.
How do I change a number?
For an Apple Contacts entry, update the number in Contacts and reopen CrewCall LTA. For an app-only entry, delete it from the directory and add it again.
