CrewCall LTA Privacy Policy

CrewCall LTA is designed to organize crew information on your iPhone and let you choose what to send through Apple’s Messages window.

Information CrewCall LTA accesses

With your permission, CrewCall LTA reads names and phone numbers from Apple Contacts so you can choose message recipients. You may also enter a crew member’s name, phone number, and optional home area directly in the app without adding that person to Apple Contacts.

Information stored on your device

Your sender name, app-only directory entries, Master Crew selection, saved groups, and app settings are stored locally on your iPhone. CrewCall LTA does not require an account and does not upload this information to a developer-controlled server.

Messages

When you choose to send, CrewCall LTA passes the selected phone number or numbers, optional subject, and message text to Apple’s system Messages composer. You review and confirm each send. CrewCall LTA cannot send messages silently or in the background. Apple, mobile carriers, and recipients may process messages under their own terms and privacy practices.

Collection, tracking, and sharing

CrewCall LTA does not collect data through a developer-controlled service. It does not sell, rent, or use contacts, crew information, or message content for tracking, advertising, marketing profiles, or data brokerage. The app contains no advertising or third-party analytics.

Your choices and control

You can change Contacts access at any time in iPhone Settings under Privacy & Security and Contacts. You can remove saved groups or app-only directory members inside CrewCall LTA. Deleting the app removes its locally stored data, subject to normal iPhone backup and restore behavior; it does not change or delete entries in Apple Contacts.

Children’s privacy

CrewCall LTA does not knowingly collect children’s personal information through a developer-controlled service. Parents and guardians should supervise any child’s use of Contacts and Messages according to their device and family settings.

Service and safety limitations

CrewCall LTA is a coordination aid and does not guarantee message transmission, receipt, or response. It is not intended for emergencies or as the sole method of safety-critical communication.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when CrewCall LTA’s features or privacy practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
